Most desired caliber

I would say 'easiest to sell' would be the vanilla calibers (.308, 7rm, 30-06).

The cool ones on the other hand would be 6.5x55, 375 H&H, 7-08. Or 7x57, 7x64 or 280 rem (which they don't run).

I have to admit I like something special and although I love all my magnums and unique caliber ( own rifles from 6.8spc to 458 Lott) IMHO 30-06 will still be the easiest gun to find ammo and to sell.

It is one of the caliber that any places on the Earth that sell ammo will at least carry one or more variety of it and if you bump into another hunter at the gas station or in the woods chances is he will be carrying rifle in 30-06 and you can probably bump or buy a few rounds of ammo off him if you ran out or lost yours.

However that being said I have not own one yet may be it's time for a change and buy myself one for Christmas lol.

Not .375 H&H I’ve had my brand new one up for awhile. :p

Probably the niche and fad chamberings. 7-08, 6.5Cr etc. People like the new and different, nothing wrong with that. I actually find the common .270 / .30-06 / .300 the hardest to find new owners for a lot of the time, people get their attention piqued by something they haven’t tried before. We’re gun nuts not gun pragmatists around here.

Go to your local Walmart. Whichever ammo they are selling, these are the common "Chevrolet" calibers.

However, many buying such mundane everyday calibers may see spending over twice for a Sako, compared to say a entry level gun as being wasteful. So my thought would be the more powerful calibers in the.Walmart ammo cabinet.

Popular magnum calibers might be more desirable. If you're gonna spend the money on a Sako 85 might as well get the most bang for your buck plus get these in stainless laminate for all-weather hunting. No need to be coddled. My reasoning anyhow when I picked up my Grey Wolf and Kodiak. Still beautiful in stainless laminate and more practical than blued/walnut so more appealing.
