I've had my gun since last august. I got right to work the day I bought it, taking apart the trigger group and figuring out how it worked. I did the auto bolt release modification. then found a great video regarding a working over and polishing whatnot of all the little bits in the trigger group. I found this to make a noticable improvment in the feel of the trigger and even the weight of the trigger pull, which felt as though is decreased a small amount. I've got some money set aside for this gun which happens to be the standard birch stocked carbine.
considering what I have done to my gun so far, would replacing the stock barrel with a Dlask barrel OR putting the money towards upgrading the trigger group with a slew of parts be a more effective step towards increasing the accuracy? I want to stay with the open sites.
the barrel I have my eye on is the Dlask factory contour 12.5 inch model, probably with the sporting chamber as opposed to the bentz match chamber because I really like CCI stingers and from everything I've read, they don't mix well with the bentz chamber.
