175 gr SMKs work very well have tried the Lapua 185grs found them to edge out the 175 smks but Pricey
Depending on where someone is, the shipping of bullets would eventually make them more expensive. I can walk out of Russell's with a 500 count box of 175s for $187.94 tax in.
I like the 168s for 300 meter but would favour the 175's for longer range. Twist rate doesn't matter much since anything that will stabilize the 168's will als stabilize the 175's.
187.94 for 500? That's over 37.00 per hundred! Since they sell in the US for more like 25.00 and since the dollar is about par, I think anything over 30.00 per hundred is a bit steep. Regards, Bill.
I only care about 168's or 175's so those are the only choices.
I also am a hack, but I still hate 168's for distance work.I've been using 168's for years and have no complaints. but then again I am a hack.
