Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any stats on the most popular/most manufactured/most used by military and/or law enforcement or anything along those lines for pistols in the world?

No offense but I'm not looking for personal opinions about what you see being used most at your local range, I am hoping for some actual stats and preferably internationally.

Type 54/TT33 is one if not the most produced pistol. It's almost the ak47 of pistol world. for example, no one knows how many were produced in USSR alone.:eek:
China, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Romania,Yougoslavia all produced this handgun. Its still produced in caves of Pakistan.
How many? No one knows. I guess only 1911 can come close.
Its so cheap that killers prefer to do their dirty deed and just leave it at the crime scene.:ninja:
 
I read something on the internet recently that said the cz75 was the most popular mil/leo pistol worldwide.
You'll have to look up your own stats to confirm or deny, but it's a start.
 
According to GLOCK, they have 65% of the U.S. LEO market. You can take that with a grain of salt though, just due to the source.
 
Thank you everyone, that pretty much all coincides with what I already knew. I have been trying to find some actual stats/figures but have not come up with much.
