What is the most reliable .22 auto pistol on the market ?
.22 auto pistols seem to jam allot more than centerfire pistols.
Any advise would help

Thanks

Do you want a real looking gun or a spacegun/target style gun?

The CZ Kadet is by far the most reliable in a combat style gun. If you already have a CZ the conversion would save some cash.

Most reliable target style gun, could be any of the older styles, like the woodsman, or hi standards, and even the Ruger line up.

I had a norinco m93 woodsman clone that would eat anything and everything. The only time it failed was when it got really dirty. It wasn't the most accurate (though not too bad), but it was crazy reliable.

il say a Unique DES 69 if you can find one... and its not because i just bought one.

;)

but I have to agree anything from the High standard, ruger mk2 or sw model 41 are good choices for a quality .22 unless you want to spend the big bucks for a Walther GSP, Pardini, etc.

I'd avoid the old higher end 22 pistols like High Standard and S&W 41 if you are looking for a simple, eat any ammo pistol. I'm not saying these aren't great, classic pistols, but they can be a bit finicky.

I have a Vostok pistol that has had over 15,000 thru it. Can only remember jamming once. I think an empty hit me then back in the mechanism 2 shots later. Had it since 1967. Mark

Everyones gonna have their differences.. I'm looking into the same thing right now. I tried the Mark II and the Mark III. I have small hands and reaching the slide release was difficult and so extremely awkward to hit the clip release.. Next I tried the Beretta Neos U22. I fell in love. A little more pricey. Cheapest I've found it brand new is $409.00 but why spend money on something ya can't use.. Also I found the rubber grip to be much more comfortable vs the plastic/metal ones.. After doing some research the Neos grips also come in many colors... SOLD.
