I was thinking about this the other day. The Glock seems to come up as the most reliable. Feeds anything, never cleaned, never breaks (or rarely).
But I am sure that there are other brands that match or surpass the Glock.
Any stories or info would be great.

USP is also known for reliability. Also, in my experience, all of the Ruger p-series are stone reliable (with good mags!).

Almost ANY gun can be made 100% reliable - some just take more money/tweeking to get there! Stock 1911 - reliable...

Right, but I was thinking along the lines of bone stock guns. And If you ran say 1000 rounds through it at the range in one session, which one or two would keep working ? Wouldn't the 1911A1 need to be cleaned at some point ? Wasn't there a high round test done on a HK ? Does anyone have info on this ?

HK coud go 5000 rds+ without a failure or longer!!

My USP 9mm went over 8500rds with one failure due to a a severely dirty mag (picture gum residue mixed with gun powder residue) all over the follower.
