No one I know abuses his equipment as bad as my #1 son (except maybe #2 son) and his Rem SPS stainless 300 RUM seems to be able to take it and keep on ticking. I would have to recommend this rifle highly, after seeing what he has done with and to it. It would seem to be impervious to rain, snow, -40, being dropped, riding in the truck box, rattling around in the back of an Argo for hundreds of miles. After all this for the past 5 years now, he comes to the range this past Sat and promptly whacks the 635 mtr clanger, which is less than 1 sq ft. It is truly and all weather and highly abuse resistant rifle, and all for under 700 bucks..........it also shoots 3/4 moa with his loads.........
