Yes , most of the really truly reliable semi autos are prohibited in the Police State of Canada
My rule of thumb is that if a full auto version was built, the semi is usually extremely reliable.

Isn't it weird M14 types are non-restricted and most other comparable rifles are prohib? These full power semi-rifles aren't what is gonna be used in a shooting anyway, they are basically hunting rifles with a history at this point

My M1A is pretty good but it do not come close to my FNAR performance wise.

Performance can mean many things. A well made M14 is utterly reliable, but you sometimes have to spend a lot to make them really accurate.

How can a rifle nobody tried yet be the most reliable 308 semi. To me it seems a rifle NEEDS to have seen a lot of use to be called ''reliable''
