Why worry about balance? Dur.. You get two of them. One for either side of the long gun. What happens if you get a hangnail on your off hand? No issue, you just go for the your right mounted sidearm. Nasty blister on your trigger finger? No problems! Off hand goes for the left mounted sidearm. All good.

interesting. i would have mounted the thing under the barrel and use the pistol grip as the forgrip for the AR. at least that is what i would have done.

They have such a device, not as funny as the OP findings, Does make's some practicality sense, (ok somewhat but none the less) at this site they sell this thing........"thereby creating a unified, tactically enhanced, dual weapon system"

You got to love at .23 seconds in where he takes a shot with the pistol, pauses...then throws it onto the ground. That screams range safety... On a side note the guy who makes this posted it onto Todd Jerratt's facebook page a few days ago recommending he check it out. This gizmo us up there with a holster made out of duct tape if you ask me.

I too would have made it a semi-permanent attachment, and used it for the vert grip as well. I want to do this with a Glock on one of my AR's some time.
