For that to be effective, it would have a very limited application in real world, the size and weight of the pistol is a huge factor. Also especially the set-up of rifle you are using is key and other attachments as well. Mounting a pistol at the front end of a piston gun would be funny being front heavy as it is. During room clearing it does have it's benefits but training should negate the tactical need for the primary weapon too have a secondary attached to the front of the weapon in most cases. If you are running a 10.5 AR and light barrel with a minimum of attachments and little to no gear as a quick grab and go set-up it is okay, but again the size of the secondary is critical when running and gunning.

My recommendation if running that would be a very light weight set-up and a very small pistol, also running the secondary closer to the center of the primary to negate balance issues. Depends on the individual as always and most people i see at the ranges are not in any physical condition to carry what they have now, as oppose to adding any more weight.

You got to love at .23 seconds in where he takes a shot with the pistol, pauses...then throws it onto the ground. That screams range safety... On a side note the guy who makes this posted it onto Todd Jerratt's facebook page a few days ago recommending he check it out. This gizmo us up there with a holster made out of duct tape if you ask me.

I think it's a single shot tazer, that's why he throws it on the ground.
