I'm looking for something to put into the yard that would signal me while I'm in the house when the damn coons are trying to get into the shed. Is there such a thing, like a motion activated wifi remote controlled sound maker?

motion activated garage light, with a blender and a strobe light plugged into one of the sockets

I typed in sonic pest control and came up with pages of stuff, but why not a cattle fence with a larger controller?
You sleep better in the long run and by that I mean the alarm will not be going off at 2 and 3 AM and by the time you get out there thye are inside or have left already.
But, I do wanna see pictures of the set up in action and results too

Next time you get to a hardware store, look at the motion activated lights.
Wander the aisles until you find the plug-in adapter, so you can plug an extension cord in to the socket, in place of the bulb.
Plug a lamp, or whatever you wish, in to the extension. Arrange all to your satisfaction.
A live trap and a rain barrel, if you don't want to lose sleep!

Haha, I have a rotti lab mix, people are in the house before she realizes somebody is on the property
I would bet that is not far enough. Coons typically have several dens spread out over a large area. I had them in my attic one summer, set up to stereos, one at each end of the attic and blasted rock music during the day for 4 days before they had enough. 8am - 7pm.
Get a German Shepherd dog. They hear and respond to EVERYTHING.
