Motiuk Prototype #1: Under Barrel Shotgun

Sad to see this thread has gone cold. Any word on an update to:
-price
-release date
-what it can attach to (other than AR)
-whether a mag fed variant is available
-like the M203, can it fit on 14.5" barrels?
-available furniture options

And any other developments that had surfaced?

This will most likely not end up as a production piece, and instead will be offered as a custom build for those few that are interested.

You seem to have enough interest for a modest production run once you have it ready to go. I know I would really like to have something like this in a mag fed version.

Pricing will depend on several options, such as base gun and furniture. Ballpark will be ~$1000

This is classed as a non-restricted firearms. Same as an M203.

As a rail-mounted platform, then perhaps you are correct, but there doesn't seem to be enough interested in an AR specific platform to justify the money/time for the jigs and fixtures.
 
looks awesome... need a mag fed shotgun... maybe with a drum mag, yaaa a drum mag :)

love it.. but go with black plastic fore end

But the last I heard you weren't going to produce a rail mounted version? Which is understandable as a shotgun could tear the rails off the gun without an AR mag well to rest against. Still, an AR platform would be something.

And a drum mag for a shotgun would be cool, I'd buy some of those if they ever became more than words on a thread...

I'd get this for an 8.5" Grizzly Mag and a non-restricted rifle platform.

More fun since it's go anywhere any time!

That is correct. A MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail isn't really ideal for the transfer of recoiling force.
 
Motiuk - will you do custom jobs for this, anyways? What do you need? Do you need me to buy the shotgun and you'll make the mount up, or what? I've got a 14.5" AR, so I'd need something short (giggity).
