I've got a Leupold Mark 4 MR/T optic that I want to put on my flattop Stag AR. Just wondering if anyone has a similar setup. I've got high Leupold rings for it. The height of the scope is ok and I can get a decent cheek weld but I can't get it forward enough for my liking. I think I need a one piece mount that has the front ring cantilevered out over the front of the receiver that will move the scope forward.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be great, a pic too would be awesome. I promise to post a pic when I get it set up :)

They're rare in Canada, but if you can get one, get a Larue mount.

(Ignore the Docter Optic mount on the side, but you get the idea).

On the recon mounts, it's irrelevant - you'll never be co-witnessing through a 10x scope.

For the reflex sight mounts (compm4 etc), you pick. Absolute co-witness, lower-third, or nearly flush (for shotguns and the like).

The Larue 1.5 SPR will put the Center line of the scope at 1.5" above the butt stock (same height as the stock irons)
Not sure of the ADM.

What is the height of those??
Is it safe to say it is at least 1.5"? (like the Larue) or maybe more?
Would this be good for mounting a big scope for Long range (eg. 56mm obj.)

Through the miracle of the internet, I have located your answer on ADM's website: http://www.americandefensemanufacturing.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=5&view=description

If you're running a flattop with a rail, you can now do the math and figure out how much clearance that 56mm objective will have, if any.
