Mount height for aimpoint t2

Hey guys,

I narrowed down my choice of red dot to an aimpoint T2 but can’t decided on the type of mount to place it on. I plan on adding a magnifier as funds allow. But for now just going to use the plain red dot. I kinda narrowed it down to a Scalarworks or a unity mount. Any advice on which would be better all things considered plus keeping weight down somewhat? Oh and it will be used on a CZ bren 2 NR for anyone wondering.

Really like the unity mount, in some cases it may to to high for some users. I find the height allows quick acquisition and rather like not digging my cheek into the rifle at all.
The irons in the unity mount are a bonus. Recently acquired a Ariska 1.93 that I am going to give a try with one of my 1x prisms.

do you plan on using NV? higher the better, otherwise, lower so you can get a good cheek weld

Lower third is probably the best height unless you're running NV or want a very heads up shooting position.

I went with a Scalarworks 1.57 height mount. I can’t afford NV right now, if that changes in the future I’ll just buy the unity mount for a few hundred bucks.
