Finally got around to editing some footage from the 2nd and 3rd day of my 2022 BC Mountain Goat hunt. Most the action took part on day one but there is some great footage of days 2 and 3.

Lol.. the fountain of youth is inside the sqaut rack. Best piece of sheep gear I bought.. not ultra.FUN AHHAHA.
I agree 100% filming isnt easy, or pack friendly on the WAY UP.
 
I competed in powerlifting through college, no stranger to the squat rack and I agree on the importance of working out. Still in the gym four days of the week 20 years later, couldn’t live without it so we agree on strength training.

However the gear still very much matters whether you squat one plate or four a side. Especially if you are doing it a lot, the packing that is.

I am very weight conscious except I carry 5lbs or more camera gear and a 85mm spotter. 9 days food, camera gear, 2 tripods, rifle I was around 75lbs this trip.

I try and save weight everywhere other than optics. My sleep system is 5lbs including tent.
