Mountain Hunting Pants

As the time to start scouting in the mountains arrives I am beginning my yearly gear upgrading. I have been using MEC hiking pants for years and they are good for their quick drying properties and light weight. Unfortunately they don't have very useful pockets and they have an integrated belt rather than belt loops. I was looking at upgrading. What have you all been using for warm weather pants. I was looking at kuiu, sitka, stone glacier and fjallraven.
 
The eddie bauer guide pros are excellent. I also recommend first lite corrugate. The fl obsidian are great for warm weather but just dont hold up well to brush and briars
 
The guide pro is certainly a reasonably priced option. I was looking at the corrugate as well, though it is more than double the price. Having tried both, would you say the corrugate is that much better? If so, in what way?

I work in the bush and I always mocked adventure pants until I tried these, absolutely amazing.
 
I haven't owned every hunting pant out there but of my first lite, mec, filson, kuiu, day one, Sitka collection, the Sitka timberline pant is my favorite. I wouldn't want to wear them in plus 30, but they are the best all round quiet fabric, quick dry hunting pants I own.
 
Wrangler outdoor performance pants. 28$ at Wal-Mart. Great hiking hunting pant. Much cheaper than the hunting brands

What makes it better is that the .material has a 4 way stretch to it. It makes it very comfortable and quite durable plus they come with suspenders which is nice. The guide pros stitching does have some issues but usually just in the pocket areas.
 
Regardless of what you choose, go with something that’s made of nylon instead of polyester or cotton. Nylon is tough, dries quickly and is lightweight. All the major hunting brands mentioned here have nylon offerings and I find it’s just a better overall material for the outdoors and hunting.

I have 2 pairs of fjallravens, if you look at sites like the last hunt or altitude sports you can find them on sale for a good price. I like the built in gaiter clips of the pants and they're honestly super comfy
 
Camo isn’t big in mountaineering, I have Patagonia, Mountain Hardware, Sitka, Kuiu, Arcteryx and gear I’m certainly forgetting. All the quality options are the same stuff, but the Kuiu has the best pockets and venting layout, and much thicker knees than the mountaineering (non-hunting) brands. The knees, pockets, and camo are the main difference. For packs I prefer my Arcteryx and don’t think the hunting brands can compete on pack comfort, but they do meat webs better. :d

I have two sets of Viddo Pro, one is waxed up and a little loose for winter/snow/colder, the other is standard fit with very little wax just to maintain mosquito and water shedding abilities!

Just hard to get used to no back pockets at first!

Wife just picked up her first set on their 25% off sale

I have been eyeing up a set of First Lite Merino though.... Hard to change when I've had 8-10 years out of the Viddo Pro's

Hard to pay full price on first lite too when Fjallraven goes on sale so often
