I decided that this sight is best suited on my Ruger 10/22 Takedown. I had alot of fun at the range today. I blasted through a brick of bulk Winchester ammo with my 11-year old son, and the sight held zero perfectly. It's nice and crisp with 4 reticle settings, and 5 brightness settings. The only downer is that it takes those bloody hard-to-find AG5 watch batteries. Really Sightmark? How about AAA? Anyway, I bought a 100-pack of those suckers from an online seller for $46... that should due me for the life of the sight!
It's no EOTech, but for a hundred bucks and change, it's pretty darn close! And it seems suprizingly durable with its all-aluminum construction. Just a nod to you 10/22 owners not sure what optics to mount. Oh, it's sitting on the Ruger factory base... nice and snug.
