mounting a flashlight to my HP9

hi guys,
ok ive got an HP9 and im using a UTG tri rail barrel mount ( around the mag tube ) , so its a weaver base really..
im wanting to mount a Fenix TK10 or TK11 but im told by my dealer than they have a 35mm body diameter .. that puts me in a rough position because i was going to use 30mm or 1" rings to mount it .. 35mm is just a strange size..

any help or experience with this ?

I just bought a Fenix TK10 and it has a 1" body. I fits both my 1" flashlight mounts.
