I have the Mako scope mount pictured below:

You can see that there is a bar that mounts through the hole in the frame for the trigger pin.

My question is: how do you remove the trigger pin so that the scope mount bar can be inserted through the frame?

(or, is this best left to a Glock amourer? :( )

Thanks

FG

you remove the old one... it's kinda locked into the frame by the slide release lever.

While you push on the pin (left side to right side) you want to lift and lower the slide release at the same time; the slide release rides in a recess on the pin. The pin will not move unless you do this.

If you aren't comfortable doing this, finde someone who is... it's actually quite easy.

thx for the tip G37 - the best piece of practical advice of anything about total stripping that I've read online yet! :) Makes me think I could actually do it! :)

And yes, Fremen, that's exactly why I bought it :) - my G22 looks very cool with a red dot mounted (even partially without the trigger pin bar installed...)
