Hello. I need some advice from knowledgable people?? I Just bought a new Swarovski Z5 scope and Iwant to mount it with a secure set up on My Sako 85. I had a set of Sako rings before with a Ziess mounted in them and when I took the ziess out of the rings there were 2 gouges on the bottom of my scope and You could see shiny Aluminum. I don't like those rings.. So I want drill my Reciever and put a pictanny one peice rail with a good set of solid rings. and have them lapped. As I don't want that to happen to my new Swarovski. So does anyone know of a Pictanny rail that will work on my Reciever and Still have enough room for the shell to clear the rail when I eject my round. It is a Sako 85 Finnlight in 270 cal which is the Med action. Also what would be a good set of rings to buy for it? Remember I want this to be a solid set up and I would also light to stay as light as possible for long walks. Thanks
