Mounting a scope on an AR15 with a A2 front sight post?

I have a Vortex - Strike Eagle that's been on my Tavor Tar 21 for a couple years that I want to move over to my M&P15.
Looks like the front sight post might be in the way a bit?
Any advise?

A lot of people actually co witness then. Once the zoom is turned up past 3 or so you won't even be able to see the front sight post.

You won't notice unless it's 1x, but high rings usually line up reticle and front post.

Rarely a problem. If it was you wouldn't see a2 post guns with acogs in service... the sight will disappear after a big of mag.

This is what I did. At 1X the crosshair aim point is just over the post. When I dial it up to 4X the front post fades away.

Like others have said, not much of a concern. I ran a 1-4 power on my M&P for a while before I free floated it. It was visible at 1x, but wasn't really distracting. At 4x I couldn't see it at all.

Is the increased height over bore really with it to not see your front sight at low power? Can you see your irons through that riser?

The low power on my scope is 4 and no you do not see the front sight. Looking through the riser all you see is the bottom of the front sight about 1 inch
