Mounting a scope (Torque Driver)

Fat Wrench works just fine!! I work for a third line contractor on Government Helicopters. Customers airworthiness specifications require us to test and record every torque wrench for every single torqued fastner, fitting and line we apply. Took the Fat wrench in to work when I first got it and tested every torque in increments of 5 in/lbs. I was quite surprised to see very little + or - , in fact it was a good bit more to tolerance than our much more expensive Qwrenches!!!

Just bought FAT wrench lets hope for the best :).

Cheapest I saw it was on Amazon.ca

I've got the Borka tool and don't regret spending a little more over the FAT wrench. I got it in a 'factory blem' sale he had on snipers hide a while ago. I can't find the blemishes however so I'm very happy. I love the fact it has no backlash and very simple to use and adjust. I don't disregard the FAT wrench as it's the choice for many but I do feel the Borka tool is a better tool for the job.

Borka is maybe great but unless shipped with an export license today no way.

the FAT wrench is a good answer and liked it a lot when we had to mount a lot of scopes, liked too the Warne torque wrench too.

Hello, gentlemen

My first post here.

I'm getting good number of requests to ship Borka Tools kits to Canada. However, shipping individual orders across the border, even if it's just 20 miles from Farmington Hills, MI, is not something that we want to do on a regular basis - too much time required for paperwork and shipping from the post office, very limited tracking or no tracking if shipped for cheap, no cost effective way to provide warranty if needed, etc. So, at the end of the day, we ended up with shipping individual orders only to the U.S. addresses. We do have dealers in several countries, but not in Canada.

So, I'm looking for the dealer in Canada, who could provide relatively easy access to my stuff for potential Canadian customers, but not any dealer. Borka Tools dealer should have good reputation, decent website, sell to precision civilian shooters/LE and, which is also important, may have capability of moving the goods to Canada from the U.S. by using freight forwarding service of some sort.

I'm not sure where to post regarding this matter, so I just started in this related thread. Please feel free to point me in the right direction.

Buy yourself the Wheeler scope mounting kit (fat wrench included)

I bought one a few years ago. Have mounted at least a dozen scopes on rifles/shotguns. Have never had a problem, I like the big wrench, The lapping rings and level level level are nice to have for mounting.

*Edit - Borka doesn't ship to Canada. It's a shame because its a great kit, I haven't seen anything that rivals it in Canada.

I bougth a MG9 kit for $164.70 USD directly from Borka Enterprises, LLC ...

Borris is a great guy to deal.
