Mounting a sling on a 10/22 with the new under folder stock

I have ordered one of those new underfolders from Hical. Has anyone mounted a sling on theirs or has ideas on a setup?

My uses will be plinking and truck gun so I'd like a 2 point sling. I may try a 1 point setup but feel that a 2 point is better suited for me.

I have a stainless regular 10/22 and have ordered the stainless angled folder. I run both 10 round Ruger and 25 round BC Steel Lips mags. Sights are a TRS25 RD.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
In throwing that out there while having no knowlegde of that stock so bear with me

Are you going to carry it open or closed ?

If closed just mount a sling swivel in the front, change the bolt where to pivot point is then mount the 2nd end of the sling there.

If open again mount a sling swivel in the front, and get a c7 style sling and just wrap the second end around the buttstock.

final option would be those slings with velco attachement that you just wrap around the rifle, being only a 10/22 im sure it would work great.



As per one point slings they work awesome in theory but Believe me they have no practical use what so ever from my experience in the woods.
 
Just read you had a TRS25 since its a small optic you should be able to put one of the picatiny sling swivels, just make sure you locktite the screw of the rail so your POA doesn't change all the time.
 
I ordered a barrel band with a side sling mount. I am going to try a screw in sling mount at the back of the stock above the pistol grip.

I will probably go with a Vickers Combat Applications Sling.
