mounting aimpoint and scopes on the same gun

I want to be able to put a scope on my 180b right now i have an aimpoint on it so im wondering if i should buy 2 bases and just change the bases or if i put on quick detach rings on the 2 optics if that would be enough to keep a zero i have the short stormwerks base on it right now any ideas would be appreciated

Just get QD rings, But make sure they will return to Zero..

ARMS 22 be good for the scope and you can get a aimpoint ring that is QD..

you can buy a ring cap for ARMS rings which will allow you to mount a second Picatinny Base on the top of the ring. Tyou could then put an aimpoint or other small optic on top of the second base.

has anybody tried/done this?. I'm looking into it for a hunting rifle application.
