Mounting an Archangel stock help needed

Very easy to do first thing you will need to do it place the barrelled action into the stock
It will be tight but will go in about 50% before left side of the receiver and charging Handle snag on the stock the 2 corners or the gap will need to be removed (use a dremel) and take a little bit at a time till the barrelled action sits all the way down ( you will see a small gap at the rear of the receiver ( this is normal dont worry)
Next you will need to fit the trigger group. Check the finer of it first to see how much it's off . The trigger group should sit flush in the opening . Once again use a dremel and take off a little every time from the inside of the openings . I also had to remove some material where the 2 tabs on the trigger group sit on the stock it takes a bit of time the first time you do it but its supper easy and the gun looks great after

The Chinese receivers are shaped a little different ..there is an angled surface about 61/4 in long on the bottom of the right side of your receiver.This shape has to be cut out of the new stock to get it to fit flush along that side and the heel of the receiver.

No , as the stock was designed to take American receivers...not Chinese. You must remove some material along the right side of the stock or the receiver will sit too high in the stock. The chinese receivers are shaped a little different.
Chalkriver is correct, and his pics are spot on ( I used them when I did mine ).
Just take a wee bit at a time and keep fitting the stock till its all done. The gap between the receiver and the stock is NOT meant to be there, why on earth would you want a gap there of all places!

Yup, chalkriver has it perfect.
The other little mod to do is to remove front sling stud and shorten it a bit. I haven't fit an archangel for a few months but the dozen I have done , all had a front sling stud that protruded inside and was contacting gas cylinder.
If you ever get a chance to compare an M1A/LRB or even a real usgi receiver to a norinco, side by side, upside down, you will immediately see the longer right sight stock bearing surface detail on the chinese receiver. This is why trimming the rear right side of the stock's top surface is done.

Updated ............
I just finished putting one together for a guy tonight in a Tan Stock .I bought
the black one when they first came out and like these new ones better .
I used mine as a model and attacked it with the dremmel to start with and then used the broken file to remove the majority of it and it went really well .
Nice and flush at the side and rear of the heel and it didn't need any material removed from under the trigger guard or trigger pads at all.
It passed the trigger test with no problems .
These Tan versions look really good.
