So the rifle is a Remington MLR700 338LM
The Scope I am purchasing is a Bushy DmR 3.5-21x50

I was looking at rings and came across a nice Accuracy International one piece unit with built in MOA and
started thinking it would be nice to streamline my mount with this. However it gets mounted to a picatinny rail anyways so now I'd have rail on rail, which mine has 20 MOA already anyway so Id have to replace that too. Which wouldn't break my heart as I don't know the brand/ quality because it was on the rifle when purchased...

Am I really going to be gaining anything with an AI one piece mount versus say, A.R.M.S 34mm rings?
With the rings it's as easy as mounting to my existing 20 MOA rail and what's good is good.

Just weighing options and if I'm spending 2k on optics a new 0 MOA rail wouldn't be over the top but
if I can save, why not. Any POV's?

I went with atrs 20 moa rail and atrs rings, after 50 rounds the scope moved in the rings.
I ended up going with Sphur mount similar to the Ai mount, no problems in the last 200 rounds.
I've got a Sightron ffp 6-24 50 mounted, I figured the weight of the scope in conjunction with the recoil of the .338lm is a bit much for some mounts
