mounting ghost ring sites on a 1100 remy

whats the best way to go about this it has a vent rib with no sights and i dont know what style to go but my friend has some nice ones on his benelli from factory

If your receiver is drilled and tapped it is a simple matter to attach a ghost ring that is made with correct hole spacing for your 1100, other wise it must be drilled and tapped. The front sight might be more of a problem if it requires drilling and tapping although some models of front sight simply epoxy over the factory bead. This is of course not an option if you are having your factory barrel shortened.
 
What make of ghost ring sights do you want?

What type of barrel is it (plain or vent rib)?

What type of sights are on the barrel now?
