For those who have done this before: (And since the pics are missing from the Tavor sticky.)

So I've got my Tavor and I've got a Harris bipod with the little stud and washer. I've got the handguard off. Am I on the right track in assuming that I have to drill out the middle of the little "hardpoint" inside the handguard so that the stud fits into it and then mount the stud into that?

Thanks

When did you get your Tavor? With the rifle completely assembled Mine has a visible threaded hole under the handguard, where your fore hand would rest, it took 2 seconds to thread the stud/washer on and voila; done. No disassembly req'd.

I see the threaded hole and the sling stud does screw into that. However I've also got a little plate with a protrusion on it that is threaded as well, seems to me that should go in behind the handguard and through the hole to reinforce the plastic, rather than screwing the stud directly into the plastic.

*grumble* gotta go dig my camera up.
