mounting lenght

I have a Mauser that requires a scope that is at least 5-1/2 inches between the mounts .. At 5-1/2 inches this leaves zero room too move the scope forward or back too get eye relief .. hope I am explaining this correct
I am looking for a scope that is long in the body of the scope between the bells .. Any help would be great .

I think the bushnell elite 3-9x40 should fit the bill. I have them on a .rem 700 and howa 1500, both long action rifles. Fit really well.

Bushnell has a 3X9 by 50 on the net ...that has just over 6 inches mounting .. But I have yet too see one in a store.. I have been looking at the EE just too see different scopes that are on the rifles for sale to get an idea of what scopes are longer ,, It seems most scopes are short and require off set rings too make them work
