I'm mounting my night force scope with the unimount base on a rem 700 LR and it came with five screws to mount to the rifle, two short and three long. The base only uses four screws so I guess one extra. The question is do the short screws go in the back or front? I thought the long ones might interfere with the action(though I didn't actually try it) so they went in the front but I don't want to shoot it until I here from someone with more experience.
