Mounting scope on .270 sako 85 hunter

Hi all,
Need some advice on what will work on my rifle for bases and rings, it's a sako 85 hunter in .270win so a medium action as per sako website, scope is a vx-3 leupold 3.5 10 40, I know the extra low rings will work but what about the bases? If anyone has experience with this please let me know, called 3 different shops and got 3 different answers. Thanks in advance!

This, unless you can get away with lows.
Optilocks are heavy and huge. You may have ejection issues with the lower scope though.

There's probably only 5 thou between the bell and barrel - just enough that I can see daylight. One problem with the low setup is that sticks get caught up in it when hunting the bush., although having it low like that is comfortable to shoot.
