Mounting Sights on a BPS?

I'm looking at mounting a red dot or turkey sights to the rib of a BPS. Would the floating rib of the BPS cause issues with losing zero or being more easily bent? I'm looking at mounting to the barrel instead of the receiver so the sight holds zero after swapping barrels.

Meadow Creek Mounts are a stellar solution for rib mounting. I use one on my 20ga for a Holosun and am very pleased with it. Rock solid and keeps the site at a nice height. Unfortunately they wont ship to Canada so you need a US buddy to work with you. Of the two site options you mention I prefer a red dot over fixed sights. I've found red dots work better if you have to shoot from awkward positions.

Thanks. I've heard good things about Meadow Creek. I'm more interested in whether or not the BPS' floating rib will cause any issues.
