I've noticed that hoops have came attached to the sling screws on my 10/22 deluxe. Well i'd like to mount my own sling on the screws, so is it possible just to cut them off so that i can slip my own sling mounts thru the holes?
The hoop doesn't slide back and forth at all, so i'm a little hesitant on cutting just yet. Maybe i should just unscrew them and put new sling screws in?
Thoughts?
