Mounting Small Optic

I want to mount a small holographic sight on my shotgun. It uses a Weaver mount.

The shotgun has these 11mm dovetails. I want to use one of them to take a 11mm to Weaver base.

The various bases I have looked at are all about 2" long. Too long for the cut out dovetail.

What do I use?

Yeah, I was looking at picking those up as well for my old Marlin 22LR bolt rifle. Totally forgot about it until I saw your post. lol
