So heres the deal.
Just picked a thompson center venture in 30-06
Rifle comes with weaver mounts from factory.
I have a 2-7 scope I want to mount on it.
The grooves in the mounts are to far apart and wont allow the rings to fit onto the tube section of the scope. The notches in the factory mounts are 128mm apart I need 95mm or less.

Sooo... where would I find a 150mm long weaver / picatinny rail with a curve underside for this rifle? Am I dreaming?

Im very well equipped to accurately drill and recess holes in an undrilled rail or cut and modify one.

Also I do not want to put offset rings as it would place the scope way to far forward and it needs to be moved backwards as it stands.

Should I just go find a 4-9 scope that will drop right in? I dont really want to go with a 4-9...

Just in case some one else ever runs into this same issue, after much reading and looking and measuring ive found a solution. Weaver #: 48329 for a savage rifle.
Savage long action with accutrigger has 3 of 4 holes that will line up and has the correct radius on the receiver (measurements came from ken farrels site) for the thompson/center. All that was needed was one hole (I made 2 holes for kicks) drilled 0.860" inwards from either pair, counter sunk and bolted on using the nasty hardware that comes with the rail.
