Quick question, were selling our place but our new home isn't going to be ready for a few months. I could store my long guns at a family member, but what do I do with my restricted handguns? I won't be at the same place as we are staying a few different places and plan to also camp for a good portion. Do I need to bring them to the RCMP to store or a local range??

Thanks in advance.

You can store them with anyone who has an RPAL I did it before when a buddy of mine was out of the country for a while. Just call the CFO for temporary storage.

NEVER NEVER NEVER let the police store your guns. Its not their business.
I doubt any local range would be interested in the liability either.

Rented storage units are often used for this purpose, but by far the best solution is find a buddy with an RPAL, and have them stored at his place.

Definitely I heard some stories of people calling the local police and never ends well. Thanks for your suggestions.
