moving to New Brunswick

People down here don't mind people from away, it's the ones that come here cause they love it, and then they want to change things, like envoke by laws like no lobster traps in the yard!
Like most who are impressed with an area when they come and then decide it should be or look different

This is the "Greetings" section, I believe the original post was "moving to NB".

Still your posting is spamming. And still has nothing to do with even moving to NB. My phone cannot even load your garbage posts, that keeps on getting longer and longer.

Perhaps the both of you need to recognize this is the "Greetings" section and not the General Question section.

Greeting people is like welcome sit down, where are you from etc. That's a proper greeting. Your method.. no hello, here is 3 pages of links and and hours youtube videos. Even my reply to him is helpful. Being I worked in NB alot, and now have family there. The vehicle inspection was something that shocked my dad, considering Ontario has inspections only when you buy or sell a car. So you can get raped in repair bills trying to register it there.

OP, the hardest part will be finding a family doctor.
Taxes are higher than in ON.
If you have kids, the school system here... needs improvement, to say it politely. It strongly depends on the particular school, of course, but getting the kids properly educated in math and sciences will take a lot of extra work on the parents' side.

Pretty good place for outdoor recreation and shooting sports though.

Hi

Im not sure if this is the right forum....

I live in southern Ontario and am thinking of moving to New Brunswick

I hear they really dont like ontarians, is this an issue?

How are the provinces gun laws?

Any comments appreciated

Thank you

I live in Moronto and I don't like Ontarians. ;)

Glad this post was here, was thinking of making the move myself with the fiancé and the dog!
Question, what does a caliber restriction entail?

Hi from the North. Yes, we manifest anger for people from Ontario because they are arrogant and come from an urban zone, which means more money and power. But if you are a good man, you can be friends with locals. It's for sure! Climate might be a problem for you, but you will adapt quickly if you are a nature lover. I recommend https://loparemovals.com for a fast and safe move! I use their services in my wood commerce. Just a remark if you find it difficult to transport your things to such a distant point.

You think Ontario is all urban?

I did the transition from Ottawa to Fredericton in early 2020. My wife is from here, so we wanted to be closer to her family.

Real estate, even after the surge they had here in 2021, is still 40-50% less than Ottawa. Cost of goods and services are lower. Especially eating at restaurants. Weather isn’t all that much different. Not as cold as Ontario in winter, but a bit wetter summers. Humidity is similar. No escaping that :)

My biggest complaint.. People drive so slow here :)

Beyond that, it’s a sportsman’s paradise here. Hunting, fishing, shooting, sledding, quading, you name it. All very popular here.
