Anybody have any experience with these? They sound somewhat interesting, and I've heard good comments from some owners. If they're good guns I'm toying with the idea of getting one.

Will shoot the crapiest ammo and ask for seconds ...extremely reiable and accurate. The mags load like a submachinegun..from the top and press down..no slding back.

Is the safety easy to work in that position? And is it true they don't have a decocker? You actually have to manually drop the hammer? That seems like it might be awkward with way the slide extends back.

Either way, I've never owned a modern handgun (I'm a milsurp collector), but I kinda want one and I'd like to have something unusual. With that price, if it's good I'm sorely tempted.

Yes it's safe to load the mags like that. It was designed that way. There is no decocker but there is enough space on the slide that will accomodate your thumb to safely put down the hammer. .Nyles sell me the 2 extra mags... you dont need 4 and 1 spare parts kit ;)

To manually decock the hammer you hold the hammer back with your thumb and pull the trigger. Ease the hammer down just a bit then let go of the trigger. Let the hammer down the rest of the way. The gun does not have a firing pin safety, but the hammer will not be able to strike the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. It's kind of an automatic half-####.
