If we're talking about the same guy, he went through the whole process, and it was deemed non-restricted by the RCMP.

It is basically a 10/22 that looks like an MP5 SD.

I remember they were way too pricey for me though, basic gun started at 1099$.

But yeah, they're for sale. I bet it would actually look pretty mean with one of those mp5-looking 10/22 promags and a magpul grip...
