Non +1 posts come after this.

Liberals are the quintessential Sheep. They go where they are led and they do not think for themselves.

If they had operational brains, they would not be Liberals. They would begin THINKING and would understand that disarming the NON-criminal just makes things EASIER for the Criminal and actually PROMOTES a rise in the crime rate. Easier sentencing for the Criminal class simply tells them that what they are doing is really okay. Look at the figures: never take my word: check everything out for yourself. In the matter of Break-and-Enter, the average is that the Criminal actually undergoes some form of incarceration following upon their THIRD conviction.... and study further shows that only about 1 in ELEVEN incidents results in criminal charges being laid. The result is that a Criminal gets a bit of jail time for ONE offence..... and gets the other THIRTY-TWO for free. Crime Pays, on average, 97% of the time.

But we all are safer today: I just got the registrations for the two WWI Lee-Enfields I bought last year. They were LOST in the system for over a year. The problem only came to light a couple of weeks ago when the RCMP did their audit on one of our Site Sponsors and discovered 3 Lee rifles missing. As it were, I had 2 and a friend had the third and NONE were removed from the shop without permission from the Registry.... which then proceeded to lose the applications. So it was late of a Sunday night and I was up and down the basement stairs far too many times: had trouble standing up the next day. But the world today is MUCH safer.

As to the OP, his entire post stank like improperly-cured Lutefisk. Perfect spelling, a total lack of punctuation..... and here is a guy who knows about the barrel-nut on a Schmeisser and about the 2-piece receiver of a Thompson.... and who only makes misteaks when they serve his purpose.

Troll, thought I, very ugly Troll, possibly RCMP but more likely ARA or Wendy or one of those other wing-nut Toronto groups that live off your tax dollars because no thinking human being will support their monomaniacal hoplophobic agenda.

So far, there is no law against being a fool, an agent-provocateur or a member of the Secret Police (which we are told we don't have, ha-ha). For some folks, that's a Really Good Thing.

I feel SO much safer!

If you owned your replica firearms before 1998 they will not be confiscated (you can still own them legally) but you are not supposed to sell them. This is a real gray area and lots of stuff passes without much legal trouble. Wave one of them outdoors in public... that's a different story.

hmmmm....Get a benefactor with deep pockets...take your pre 1998 replicas and openly sell them. When you're charged with selling your own property (which is no danger to anyone) make a big deal of it in the courts (That is if they don't suddenly drop the charges while seizing your stuff). This stuff is so ridiculous it needs to be exposed.

A newbie named Adolf who purposely writes like a flunkie. I bet he is from Toronto with a mission to stir sh*t up on CGN.

From what I understand Adolf means noble wolf, that hitler guy ####ed that name royally, otherwise it'd be cool.

Yeah, in Anglo-Saxon the name was Aethelwulf, same meaning, with the 'A' and 'e' joined. The "th" sound was represented by the letter Thorn, which we don't use any more, although they still use it in Iceland.

After the Norman Conquest, the Germans kept on changing the pronunciation in one direction while we went the other. We changed the "Ae" into "E", they changed it into "A". We changed Thorn into "TH" and the Germans changed it into "D" (it started off about halfway between).

And that is what prevented England from having a King Adolf, back in the Middle Ages.

The RAF and a few million helpers can take the credit for preventing there ever being a King Adolf II around about 1940!

I am surprised there aren't regular fishing expeditions - sting operations - being run here by LE agencies trying to snare the unwary. PMs offering unregistered guns, interesting parts, etc, etc.

Oh, I am quite certain that these things do in fact occur.

I think that this was somewhat of a clumsy attempt.

There have been other, I am sure and I am just as sure that there will be more.

All that is required on our part is to keep our minds in operation and to be as circumspect in our actions as the day doth warrant.

Some day this evil dream will end...

When it does, we can go back to being CITIZENS rather than SERFS.

Replica Guns

These replica guns were readily available during the 1970s. Thompsons, MP40, Uzi, Colt 1911A1, Colt Peacemakers, etc. There was a distributor in Toronto that had them.

While I think there are quite a few Trolls on CGN, the law enforcement agencies might have a bit of trouble in court with something like this.

Does the word, ENTRAPMENT, ring a bell?

If anyone were to buy an unregistered firearm, with the full intention of registering it because the present Amnesty is still in effect, and it was a Sting operation, would not the Seller also be guilty, or even more guilty in that they knowingly sold an unregistered firearm?

How about the little old lady next door, whose husband passes away, and she gives or sells you his old firearms, and you then register them?

We now have a much safer world, because the replica firearm is now banned and prohibited. Those old $1.49 plastic kits of pirate pistols, Colt 45 autos, Peacemakers, and Colt Navys and many more are prohibited. Someone better tell E-Bay, so they can take them off the Canadian website, because there are lots of them available from E-bay sellers.

While the original post does not have a real Skunk smell about it, there still seems a bit of a pungent odor wafting about.

Funny thing is, replica firearms are not only legal but also widely popular in countries with the most stringent gun control laws ie. Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan etc.

Real dangerous goods they are not unless you are a liberal.

I think by now that it`s pretty obvious that ADOLF 45 was a Troll for real.

ANYONE with any GUTS who was not a Troll would have protested by now.

Sic semper excretum.

We can't have replica firearms donchaknow, because poor old Mrs. Gurgle's misunderstood and wayward child might use them to stick up a 7-11 or intimidate the constabulary and if he was shot when the folks in blue responded it would be TERRIBLY embarassing, because he would not have really been a threat to life and limb and the wrath of God would descend upon the leaders of the forces of law and order from all the liberal dogoodniks. Thus, the higher echelons of political correct thought have determined that if anything resembling, or approximating a real gun is made illegal the problem is solved. Let's hope the forces of misunderstood mayhem never latch upon a pellet gun or else they may be outlawed too.

Ummmmm... Bush.... I think they are, kind of.
Anything over 500fps I think, and you have to register it as a rifle.
A guddam PELLET gun!!!
Crazy, man, crazy.

I have been told and I believe it that the CFC hired 50 "new mounties" to monitor all of these sites and forums trying to find people who might say something in print that they can use to have your PAL cancelled. One must be careful of what you say, in our defence it is known the RCMP do have difficulty catching a cold....oh no now they are watching me.

Winging it from the famous actor John Wilkes Booth, said on the occasion of planting a .41 ball in the head of a certain Mr. Lincoln: "Sic semper tyrannis!" (Thus ever to tyrants!).

Just thought it a propos of the situation.

My apologies to Cicero, of course. (We didn't have Latin in school; cut us off from a lot of great thought. Modern schools don't have History; cuts us off from our own traditions, makes it easier to impose new politically-correct traditions from 'non-traditional cultures', hence our newfound fascination with dragon-boat racing and the continued demonisation of the Norse culture which began the European settlement of this continent 1010 years ago.)
