Mp40 non restricted

.22lr? There is never anything mentioned about the mp44 creation of this company. Heavy due to extensive use of zamak castings. Clamshell strip down(?). So they have a 9mm rifle in the works. Will this be of clamshell zamak design/construction.

The truth about guns article on the 9mm pistol version. Simply sensational.

Did you read all of the comments section? The earlier models in the wooden crates gave folks some problems but the newer ones work flawlessly.

I read the 9mm version has a zamak receiver. The trigger group/pistol grip is polymer & held on with a crosspin. I think I will pass. One of the few independent vids with a teardown shows the gun about 3 metres from the camera wtf is wrong with ppl?

Going back a bit the Demro carbine had a zamak reciever & relied on a nylon buffer to keep from coming apart fast.

I have a strong interest in WWII firearms and also in .22 rifles and pistols. However, I don't see the benefit of combining the 2. I have learned the hard way not to buy a .22 firearm based on looks. Most "military replica" .22s will be a disappointment as a firearm and end up being an awfully expensive paperweight or wall hanger if they don't shoot and function as well as , or better than, a typical .22 rifle.

I've owned an MP38 and an MP40, they are well made, heavy with historical markings and practically ooze history. A plastic and pot metal replica that fires .22 semi-auto leaves me scratching my head wondering "why?"

I'd love to shoot one of these, pretty sure I'd like to own one too. A limited gun budget forces me to make smarter decisions though. lol Kidding aside, it's a fun idea based on an iconic gun I've always been fascinated with. I can't see getting one myself, but again..more of a budget consideration than anything else.
