I would like to thank every one that has replied to this thread either by personal messages or as part of this post.
I started this thread with the purpose of trying to get a sense of current market value for the converted autos as it has been a subject that I have been thinking about for quite some time.
I have never sold anything in my collection so far.
A number of people have made offers on these guns which I really appreciate.
There seems to be a number of 12-3 people out there that might be interested in this stuff.
I might not be ready just yet, but this is the first time that I gone as far as to try and find out what they might be worth.
The 12-3s will be the first guns that I will part with.
I have tried to respond to all the people that sent me messages.
A number of people had concerns that these guns might be deactivated,
that is definitely not my intention.
I have some other "#### and click" guns that I have purchased that were already deactivated.
I am quite sure that there are people on this Forum that will eventually own these guns.
As a collector there are accessories that are added after the gun has been purchased ....some are shown below.
I can well imagine people feeling... when you are ready to sell and have a price in mind let me know and I will let you know if I am interested.
Before I got into this stuff I was primarily a US Civil War collector, which is probably where I will go back to.
Some of the accessories that I have will have to be taken into consideration....in some way.
Thanks again for your help and interest.
My two sons will not own these guns, and as much as I respect a dealer’s right to earn a living I would prefer to see these guns eventually go directly to a collector.
