Klunk sold me this crappy airsoft FAL. Looks better with the Israeli furniture on it though.

I can't believe all you guys think his "guns" are real.

Huh? Full auto? Duck license? Perhaps I missed the joke here... I have legal semi auto belt feds that one can acquire with a "duck license".

This and the SAF are the best I can do for real steel pics folks... :( But both (SAF since sold, attempting to acquire a mini) squirt genuine 9mm and 7.62mm bb's by the same compressed gas-brass case system Klunk mentioned.

Wash your mouth out with soap. I will never own a dewat.

The Sten is a lot of fun to shoot. I added some rubber spacers inside the but-cap to make it cycle faster, which I find feels smoother. Otherwise, as with most open bolt subguns you can distinctly feel each movement of the bolt.

Sten's are much more effective than most people think. I shot a 100m service rifle match with it a couple of seasons ago and actually beat a bunch of much more sophistocated rifles including a scoped AR15.

They are dead simple and just as reliable, in addition to being tough as nails and tolerant of just about any type or shape of ammo.

Scarecrow I guess you're too young to remember International Firearms, there were on Ferrier St for years (didn't they rename that street to Rene Levesque Blvd?)

My sister drove me there just before Christmas when I was 15 and we bought a beautiful Winchester made M1 Carbine for $129.95... right across the counter. No hassles. Yeah, that was just before 1978 when it was turned into a 'restricted'.

The only time machine we have at our disposal is to toss the Libs and elect a CPC gubmint... then maybe we can see some sensible firearms legislation once more!
 
I bought one of those FN's - Aussie upper, Brit lower, and...NEW Canadian barrel. That combo actually shot very well indeed. Yup, but of course we're much safer now.

I missed out on all the good gunshops a long while back. Everything was long prohibited before I could get my license. I'm only 22.
 
Since Jan 1, 1978... bill C51 under Warren Allman, Liberal Solicitor General under Trudeau. Any semi-auto with a bbl length of less than 19" to become restricted. This legislation was aimed squarely at the M1 Carbine, which was selling like hotcakes.
Also this bill prohibited (with grandfathering) full autos.
