Are there any MP5's kicking around in Canada, if so are they restricted/prohibited??? who sells them and how much, any range reports??? Are there any knock off like norinco etc.

That is what I thought, but i remember that a guy that i used to know that used to go to the same range as me had one, but ive never seen any or heard about them, and therefore assumed they were prohib or hard to get, etc.

That really suck they are great little subs. little 9mm but when you shot it it feels like more. ohh well

completely ridiculous, that is the best description of Canadian gun laws. There are cops out there that dont have PALs and RPAL and get to play with MP5's and other fun toys. Half of them dont even care about firearms and would like to be like the British cops. whereas gun lovers and enthusiasts are continually being F'ed in the A. All because of some stupid gang bangers and crazed lone gun men, like regulating firearms will reduce the incidences of those characters. like i said :onCrack:
 
No you can't do a drive by with an MP5 in Canada unless you are a gang member or a mobster.
But you can do drive by at the zoo anytime with peanuts, it's legal & affordable.
 
I notice the MP5K-N isn't up there on the list ;)

btw. the cops have to take a special training course to be allowed to use/handle the MP5

And yes, Police do have to get qualified on the MP5. When it comes to Military/Law Enforcement every different weapon system requires the course/training and a qualification.
 
anyone can own them with the right business license get one of the ones that lets you own prohibiteds (some even allow you to shoot them) and then marstar has a whole bunch of different fun things you can buy(i regulary window shop on they're full auto section) but remember the catch is you need to have a business dealing with that sort of thing

Closest thing that is not prohib would be the FAMAE SAF.
