I guess we all have russians ordered LOL, the Ds look great but they lack a hold open so the fixed is more practical, however the 30/5 looks GREAT!
 
Actually someone beat me to it. I e-mailed them on Saturday with all the info they need, phoned on Monday to confirm and it had already been sold.....so I guess the Russian will have to do for now! I plan on picking up a D as well as a yugo in the near future anyways, I was originally going to convert a Norinco (as they are so common) into a detachable, but if I can get one manufactured that way all the better!
 
im posting these pics on behalf of MP5K , it shows his unfired SKS-M and russian SKS45 . thought it would be nice to show a comparision , the blond wood looks very nice.

notice the differences of M to a D , M has a monte carlo stock, padded, the mag catch looks regular and the bayo lug has been removed(required by US post89).

thanx for posting those for me, i will try do do my own next time, im glad u guys like them, between me & curtton i think we have a good representation of most of the different types of SKSs for your viewing pleasure.......
 
I'd say I'm in...but I'm waiting for my Russian SKS...June they say...seems like forever! Gives me time to start ordering goodies for it though, and I need to hit up CanadaAmmo for a case or two of Czech milsurp ammo!
