MP9 2.0 or Glock

A huge thank you to all the posters in this thread. As a pistol noob, I have been chatting with friends about what to buy and following this thread. Pleased to announce, Al Flahertey's is now working on the transfer of an M&P 2.0. Could not pass up the range kit!

I’ve had my butt handed to me by both MP9 and G17 shooters/ owners/users, so I am put in my place. :eek:

I also experienced Greentips kicking my own butt with my own Gen3 G17 about 10 years ago. So I am speaking from a very humbled space.

Fundamentals are key. Get good fundamental drills and skills from a solid instructor and find what works for YOU..... Your budget, your holster setup, your LCV (looks cool factor), you gun games, your comfort level. It has to work for you.

I’m no longer issued a pistol like the BHP I had on my first deployment so I get to buy what I can....

These days I have to run whatever my clients run or something pretty close to it......

Glock 17
Sig P226
Sig P320

Buy what works or you....

I like the 2.0, but really like the sig 320, more than the m and p 0r glock, had a gen 4 that ran perfect, had another one that did not eject well, had a gen 5 that had some problems, I liked the original gen 4 I had, but the 320 I could take out the fire control unit and clean it. I would pick a sig 320 over anything else...
