Got a Mr. Dial for my 550. Good little doodad! Makes adjusting powder super easy! Money well spent if you don't like using a wrench whenever you adjust your powder drop!

great looking tool, i've got a unique-tek adj @ 2 times the $, works great but yours looks good & in keeping with the KISS method. watch that it doesn't creep.

Not sure that it can creep any more than the standard adjustment method. I am pretty new to reloading, so I am pretty religious about weighing powder drops after ten rounds or so to make sure its not out too much. Im finding they are plus/minus one grain with titegroup, but that was the same before and after the dial was installed.

dillon measure, should hold +/- .1 gr max with titegroup/231/bulleseye/wts.it might open up a bit with clays. if your getting 1gr float you're doing something wrong. when you check weight use 10 throws, you need to be very consistant with your operating stroke. i mentioned creep because mine is prone to that[ very slight but enough about .001/.002] . as to the home depot knob: the mr dial has .001 grads, you can record the set & repeat it time & again

I know how mr dial works. I have one. The knob I sugested was for anyone that does not want to spend 50+ dollars. It makes changing powder settins easy as you don't need awrench.
