First of all thank you so much mr wolverine for taking up this fight and all your good work. I am wondering is it possible for the RCMP to do this with out any direction or at least knowledge from the government, if so shouldn't the government be able to hold the RCMP accountable or at least put a stop to this. Why not change the law since they do have a majority.

Wolverine, since you`re heading to Czech Republic concerning the new 958 maybe you will find out the truth about these receivers. CZ with their mix and match builds on these owes us an explanation. If not they deserve to loose out in the Canadian market all due to no public communication detailing these builds.

Yes, that question is on my agenda, but this situation is extremely complicated and due to all sorts of legal questions I may not have any answers for you. Consider the possibility that maybe CZ and Wolverine have been set up! The real truth of what has really taken place with this situation may never be know. If Wolverine had been guilty of attempting to pull the wool over the eyes of the Government I would have faced criminal code charges, that is not the case.

M. Wolverine, now that the cz858 has become prohib what would hypothetically be now the legal status of an individual if one has a cz858 in a firearms safe in their house?

Personally I wish the RCMP would come and arrest all of us as that would surely make the news. The Conservatives would have to act fast then. You are correct on having much more to loose than just a rifle as this is no longer about firearms but liberty and freedom. The sooner people wake up and realize this the sooner they will hopefully start to stand up and make a stand. If all people are stressed about is loosing a rifle then we have already lost this fight.

I understand your feelings, please make them know to your MP and ask him what your legal status is, turn the heat in his direction.
My personal opinion is that until the Government makes an official announcement, you are OK, then it is normal to have a grace period in which you have time to comply with any changes.
"Ok" meaning I can still take it to the range, or do I leave it locked up in my safe? Just curious.
joe.danay I salute you and want to thank you for your service. My son in law is also in the military and I have the greatest respect for all our military. You may have stumbled upon a great idea that would bring lots of media attention if the RCMP started going around arresting our military personal for having a prohibited rifle in their possession. I have already decided to make a stand but it would not make nearly as much of an impression on the general public as I will only be seen as some gun owning quack, you on the other hand.....
