MR1 what have I done??? Or will do???

Is there and factory match barrel you could replace on this or is it 100% proprietary, or more likely because of the nut system on the front you can't have a thicker barrel???
 
Any one have a line on a tri rail for these???

Al flaherdys is 90 but retired shipping and nothing else I need to hit the shipping kin.
Wolverine is $120 and ok shipping
Non on EE

Also can anyone confirm that Quests own brand of LAR15's work in these? If so I'll grab a 10 pack if not I might chance it on a few.

I got my tri-rail from AL's. It's the same as the CX4 Storm if that helps.

The metal black mags with the orange follower will fail every other shot. The grey metal mags with the yellow follower are great. If you don't care about dropping empty, or don't mind sanding a bit, use the MFT 10RND mags.
 
Youll have to study the fore end and see if theres enough clearance between the barrel/Gas system and the plastic..... I know on the bottom there was and I was able to buy a polymer 1913 mlok rail for cheap, and simply modified the mlok nuts so they were flat as possible..... I even went as far as too plastic epoxy the rail to the for end for added re assurance that it is rock solid.

here is mine ,I like it's accurate and reliable ,ATRS rail is a nice upgrade ,had anyone installed rear sight on it so iyt works with front one ?
really need a bit more eye relief on vortex magnifier Holosun 503G has a great ACSS Reticle

Mine arrived today, I love this thing! Shoots great, minimal kick, cycles fast, barrel does climb quick snapping off 5 in a row. Lol I have shot big bore rifles too long I forgot how small and light kicking the .223 is.

Have my ATRS rail enrout as well as a cheek Riser. Viper 1-6x pst will be mounted on the weekend.
Still waiting for my test ammo to arrive to decide on accuracy/cost then load up on a bulk order.
The mag release is very stiff, gonna work on that and maybe come up with a solution for quick hits.
I actually like the erganomics, other than the standard safety will cost time and mag release is a pain.
After these though and shooting the way I like off it will go for a barrel cut and muscle break install.

Mags still trying to find mags! Many retails do not have any stock right now and can't get an answer from quest if theirs feed or can take ranger plates.

Wow. Have the exact same setup. Assuming thats the HS515CU.) Mine just has an additional QD on the end of the stock and a shorter mag. I took the 1-4x24 off the day I got the M&P15. I used to have the 3x flip the other way but it doesn't quite line up as well so I put it back. (Ya, you can move the view so the red dot stays in the middle of the 3x but the housing is still off.)

red dot reticle does line up perfectly in the middle of magnifier and I can see all of the ACSS reticle

but it would be better if the magnifier is located closer to the eye and for that I need ATRS rail but I don't want to lose open sights
