Is it an A1 model? I don't see the designation as such...

edit: looks like the rear pin is over more so like a normal AR so I'm guessing it is...

Hey Tactical Imports you guys sent me the wrong rear sight for HK....All call tomorrow.

Everything else seems good...

I went with a 16.5". It came with a 10 round magazine, well with a device tack weld on to make it a 5 round mag. I though we could use 10 round postal mags in Ontario ? Yeah the manual is in German, that was funny.

Yeah I was talking to Gamer about this last night, I was thinking about the Elcan specterDR type of optic since it has a red dot, 4x, and illuminated and non illuminated reticles.

I have a serious question. So now I've examined the gun over more thoroughly and I've noticed it came with the ejection port window wide open ? Should not be shut ?

If I'm reading what you are asking right??? The objection port cover is good to be closed when transporting or carrying your rifle, but it being open will not stop the function or really risk damage in most instances even if dropped from extreme height it will be jarred open most likely if anything...no worries..

If putting your rifle down it is always good to close the cover to prevent dirt and debris from making it's way inside the action or if putting your rifle down with objection cover side you would always want to close it naturally.

Finally I took mine out to the range to test out and zero the diopter sights. They're really easy to work with. My first photo is simply the target I used to adjust the elevation of the diopter sight. I went the wrong way once, and there is a double group on top of each other. The sights where sighted in at 25 yards. I wanted to take it out further but I ran out of time. : ( ah time, short and sweet.

In my third photo I was screwing around with the windage. The photo clearly shows 2 groups, one on the far right and one on the far left. The sights screw is very sensitive to the turns. Which I learned. But in all I'm very happy with this gun. HK makes an excellent, well crafted product. Just from the sites, to the the 10 round steel magazine it came with. It loads smoothly, easy to maneuver, and very simple to shot.

I like.

Yeah I love the charging handle...

I've shot it up to 150 yards with a compM2 and it shoots awesome... still need diopter sights, I just always liked them. Tried the ACOG as well... it shot pretty much spot on at 200 yards... im just not super steady.

Also need a flash suppressor on it, or something that at least directs the sound a bit better.

I did try a bunch of LAR mags and they worked fine. As well as the 10 rounder (pinned to 5) it came with. And the reason it's pinned to 5, is because it is not a pistol mag. It's a 10 round rifle mag.

Now I need Sights, flash suppressor, more mags (looking for Emags/PmagGen3s), and some decent rail covers... maybe a vertGrip and IM done with it :D
